This might sound odd, but I am starting to get fatigued from working at home - and a desk job in general. But if I were at a job where I was moving around all day long, I might start wishing for a desk job. I am trying to find a balance and it is wearing on me.

It doesn't sound odd at all. Finding a balance is always tricky, isn't it? I think, there are different phases in life with different needs and with these changes we might have to adjust accordingly (or at least think about it). I wish you all the best, may the new year bring you lovely new opportunities!

Yes I totally understand. And it's also the idea that somewhere you love visiting isn't as enjoyable to work at as it is to visit.

I switched from working in a hospital to the community which is much more flexible with time management and I get time by myself in the car to recharge. It's about finding a job that works for you as you said. ☺️

Thank you, Hayley! Also for sharing your experiences. Yes, sometimes things just don't work out the way we imagined or hoped they would and then it's time to acknowledge this - and find a job that works better. (Preferably before it affects our health.) I'm happy for you that you've found a good job that works well for you! 😊
