I feel quite the opposite when it comes to physical vs e-books, but it's due to lifestyle more than anything else. I've been forced to use a Kindle as an expat, and a semi-nomadic one at that! I do miss a good library though.
So I've become a fan of the ease of the e-readers! Funnily, when I got my hands on a physical book, I was shocked when I didn't enjoy it because the font was too small and the book felt too heavy. I've been converted! Oh, no! 😂
I totally get that! It depends on the circumstances, of course. If I was living as a semi-nomadic expat (very cool! 😎), I'd definitely cling to my e-reader. It would be my lifeline and my treasure chest at the same time. 😁 And yes, I wouldn't argue on the advantages in terms of font size. I'm not getting any younger and neither are my eyes. 😄
Anyway, I hope my conversion is still far in the future. 😂
Yes, it’s not perfect though. Kindle’s tell you when your 14% through and what does that mean? What does that look like? And maps or family trees? Forgetaboutit. I miss being able to flip around a book to look at those creative inserts!

Oh yes, maps! This has been a great deal of annoyance for me more than once. 🙄
But as a die-hard book lover, I think it's just great to have lots of different ways to read books. That's what counts in the end. 📚🥰
