All those birds you saw, what a joy! Last week I saw the great spotted woodpecker. It sometimes visits our garden, looking for some peanutbutter and I'm always in awe....
It is nice to recall those days where we weren't constantly on the lookout for an IG shot. Good for you enjoying the moment, the walks, and the birds. xo
Yes, I was deeply fascinated by this heron visitor. To see one that close up and to watch it for quite some time on several days, so interesting! But in the end, it had more patience and perseverance than I did because most days I left my post at the kitchen window before it left its spot on the roof. ;)
The heron on your neighbour's roof made me smile! It’s amazing how nature can surprise us in the most unusual ways. There’s something so magical about those moments when we catch sight of something that feels almost too surreal to be true ✨
I am amazed at what I have encountered since I set out to reconnect with nature. Cheeky herons, peaceful lakes and forests, the first bee of the year ... I'm noticing these things much more closely again. It's so wonderful! 💖
It's also good to know that nature can easily do without us and is at the same time there when we want to reconnect with it. I find that thought very soothing.
It’s always good to have a guilty pleasure! I love the idea of your walk around the lake. So tranquil and soothing.
Thank you, Victoria! 😊

P.S. Clicking over to Duckomenta!
Thank you, Lani! :)
Haha, I think there could be worse guilty pleasures ;)
Lovely bird sightings! I am always happy to see a heron. It's nice how still they can be for long periods of time.
You are probably right. ;)

Yes, they seem to have extreme patience! Maybe we can learn something from them...
I agree, we probably can ... :)

You are absolutely right! 🥰✨️
What a treat seeing that heron on your neighbours roof. And I'm sure there are worse guilty pleasures than that one 😁
😄
That cheeky heron! 🤣😅 such interesting creatures.
Lovely to get to know a bit more about you Claudia.

It's a weird feeling isn't it. Knowing that it's there regardless of if we choose to notice or not.
