I have old calendar pictures hung up at my work station too! It was lovely to hear about your walks. I’m recovering from foot surgery & looking forward to walking again. But having to stay inside & off my feet, I’ve missed many cold & snowy days, so that part is nice! It won’t feel like spring here until April but that’s ok, I appreciate every season & love this quiet reflective time of year. It gives me time to dream about my garden.
Beautiful pictures! And already lots of spring to come in your garden. I must take a look in mine ☺️ If you get a chance to go with a dog sledge, just do it! We took one today (in Sweden) and it was amazing!
Wow, what are the odds that you just went on a dog sledge tour yourself today! Amazing! So great! 😍 I just saw your photos on Notes ... 🤩 I think, I'll have to find a way to make it happen ...😁
Enjoy the snow! ❄️ And look forward to spring in your garden! 🌷 Every season has its beauty, hasn't it?
This all sounds lovely! I think blackbird song is one of those things easily missed because the species is common & we are used to it, but if you pay attention it's so beautiful. Must be nice to see the garden slowly waking up!
Haha, the postcard really confused me! I didn't read the text and thought "I am a biologist, I should know what animal this is" but couldn't figure it out! Then I zoomed in and it dawned on me ;)
I really loved the way you described the "tender signs of spring"—there's something so magical about those early moments of change, like they’re quietly reminding us that even in the coldest seasons, renewal is happening.
Also, I completely get the thrill of a new book in a favourite series! There’s a special kind of comfort in returning to familiar characters and stories. Hope The Bookseller is as good as you’re hoping! 😊
I'm always happy when people take the time to read my posts, no matter when. ☺️ If they like them and even leave a comment, that means the world to me! So, thank you very much, Hayley! 🩷
When I grew up, me and my family and my grandparents had cats, they were family members, of course. 🥰 I would really love to share my home and life with cats again, but sadly my husband is allergic, so there's currently no way to have one. I've relied heavily on friends with cats in recent years - and they on me to be their cat sitter. 😄
I hope the light is waiting for you soon when you finish work at 6 pm!

Thanks, Holly, I'm glad you liked it! 😊 Thank you for sharing your thoughts and how you feel!
I'm sorry to hear about your foot injury! Can't be easy to be off your feet for some time. I wish you a speedy recovery, get well soon! 🌷🍀
I agree about appreciating every season. There's so much to enjoy in each of them, and I'm glad to live where there are distinct seasons.
Dreaming about your garden sounds wonderful! I think, we need time to reflect and to dream.
However, I hope you can be outside again soon! Take care!
Beautiful photos! I love that you are starting to see signs of spring too.
Thank you, Victoria! 😊
Lovely, really highlighting how there is beauty in every season. Beautiful pictures! ❤️
Thank you, Sophie! 😊

We booked a last minute ski holiday to Sweden and enjoying every minute of it 😊
Sounds so lovely! 😀

Thank you, Hannah! So true about the garden and the blackbird song.
The postcard managed to confuse a biologist? Well done, photographer! 😂

Ah lovely photos! So wintry!
