I completely agree that being in tune with nature is the best way to calm down. I went for a long walk yesterday, saw some tentative signs of spring and felt so much better than I had before I went on the walk. Iām glad there were some small moments of joy in your week after all and I hope the coming week holds much more happiness. š
Sorry you didn't have a good week - I hope the next one will be better!!
I liked Hayley's post a lot as well. It's amazing how a good writer / photographer can make us feel almost like we're out in nature ourselves. That's so valuable especially when we are stuck indoors for whatever reason.
Claudia, Iām sorry to hear this week was tough for you, and I truly hope the next one feels lighter. I also follow Hayley and always look forward to her posts, and her photos are stunning! I love how you found comfort in small moments. Itās a good reminder that feeling better doesnāt always mean feeling greatāsometimes itās just about noticing what helps. I checked out the snail film, and the poetry was so calming and beautiful. āScroll less, stroll moreā is definitely something my nervous system could use right now! Wishing you peace and a gentler week ahead š
Wonderful reminders of the power of kindness, and the escapism through stories. I also like to read true stories from extraordinary people to remind me that my problems are small (not insignificant!) by comparison. Hugs from Cambodia.
Thank you, Lani!! š Yes, it can definitely help to read these kind of stories or just talk to others, getting out of your own head (or mine in that case š). Can help to put things into perspective ...
Thank you for the post. Life is hard for me. I lost my beautiful German Shepherd to bone cancer three weeks ago. My other dog is 12, diabetic and blind. I am 70 and have cancer. But, I still write in my Gratitude Journal every day. I liked the snail video.

I'll keep an eye out next week for the first tentative signs of spring here, let's see if I can already find any. Snowdrops might be possible. š
